Nature of the content
The articles, specifications, schedules and case studies on this site describe the Studio's own approach and are published for general information. They are not design, engineering, acoustic or lighting advice for your property, and they do not create a professional relationship. Conditions in any specific house differ, and construction work should be designed and reviewed by professionals engaged for that project.
The planner
The Room Acoustic RT60 & Circadian Lux Planner uses simplified Sabine and split-flux methods with typical published coefficients. It is a planning aid for early conversations. Results are estimates, may differ materially from measured conditions, and must not be used as the sole basis for specifying construction, acoustic treatment or lighting.
Intellectual property
All text, drawings, plans, schedules, code and the visual design of this site are the property of the Studio unless otherwise noted. You may reference studio specification sheets for private, non-commercial reference. Reproduction, redistribution or use of drawings and schedules for other projects requires written permission.
Trademarks
Product and manufacturer names mentioned in specifications, including hardware and finish brands, belong to their respective owners and are referenced for descriptive accuracy only. No endorsement by those manufacturers is implied.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. The Studio makes no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free, and accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on it, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Professional practice
Interior architecture services are provided in Oregon in collaboration with licensed architects and engineers of record where stamped drawings or permits are required. Engagement terms for a specific project are set out in a separate written agreement.
Governing law
These terms operate under Oregon architectural practice and commercial statutes. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
